Hachnassat Orchim  Kehilat Orach Eliezer (KOE) is committed to fulfilling the mitzva of hachnassat orchim (welcoming guests) by providing meals as guests need. It is easier for us, and leaves you with less uncertainty, if you make arrangements with us in advance by emailing hospitality@koe.org. However, meals are also arranged immediately after Shabbat morning services. One or more members circulate in the crowd, asking as many individuals as possible whether they need a place for a meal, and/or, whether they have a spot at their table. There is a possibility you may not be asked - if so, please speak up! We are generally able to arrange a meal for anyone who needs. Special dietary needs (vegetarian, food allergies, etc.) can usually be handled. In this case, it is most helpful if you contact us in advance.
