Yamim Nora’im at KOE

We wanted to let you know that KOE is actively planning for the yamim no’raim. We are excited to announce that we will be holding Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services at the hostel again this year. In addition, we plan to have childcare for all the day services so that all our attendees can participate in the services.

We are reaching out to you to see if you are able to volunteer with the organization and execution of KOE’s yamim noraim services. Some areas that we are in need of volunteers:

· Moving items from storage to hostel (& then back again!)

· Setting up for RH & YK

· Purchasing break-fast foods & delivering to hostel

· Designing/updating the KOE ad for publicity

· Oversee fundraising efforts

We look forward to davening together in a meaningful way and count on your support for making this happen.

Enjoy the rest of your summer,

RK Dina Najman & the KOE lay leadership

Mazal Tov!

Simon Feil and Tehilah Eisenstadt are happy to announce an increase in the person population by one, and an increase in the awesome factor by far more than one. “Sesame” Eisenstadt-Feil dropped in just before 7am on Tue Nov 9th and is taking the fetal world by storm. Everyone’s doing well and are learning the shades of sleep deprivation and poop.
The bris will be on Tuesday at 7:30am at Temple Beth Elohim in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Corner of Garfield Pl and 8th Ave.
